Viewing themselves as a competent, highly captivating "learning model" can enhance the acquisition of targeted skills and behaviors. People with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities are now learning preferred behaviors and difficult tasks by watching themselves succeed. In this revolutionary approach, we can consult with parents and caregivers to target behaviors and tasks needing modification. We outline scenarios showing the "future" you'd like to achieve.
